1. Eligibility:

The land, property, or building must be located within the jurisdiction of the Local Authority.

All relevant taxes must be fully paid without arrears.

If the property is within the assessment area, it must be registered in the assessment register.

2. Required Documents

1. Completed application form (no fee charged)
2. Original deed of the land and a copy
3. Original survey plan and a copy
4. If the original deed is held by a bank branch, a certified copy of the deed issued by the bank

3. Fees

Issuance fee for Street Line and Non-Acquisition Certificate = Rs. 1,000.00

4. Special Conditions

For deeds related to property transfers submitted for local authority service requirements or legal purposes (sale deeds / gift deeds / transfer deeds), if such deeds are certified on or after 2020.01.01, the service can only be provided if the Provincial Revenue Department confirms that the correct stamp duty has been paid or any deficit stamp duty has been fully settled.
