Issuance of Certificate of Conformity (COC)
1. Service Information
The Certificate of Conformity (COC) is issued after the completion of construction work to confirm that the building has been constructed in accordance with the approved building plan and applicable regulations.
This certificate is mandatory before occupying or using any newly constructed building.
2. Purpose of the Certificate
The COC ensures that the building complies with safety standards, approved structural plans, and relevant planning regulations of the local authority.
3. Application Process
After completing construction, the applicant must submit a request for inspection. The technical officers of the local authority will inspect the building and verify compliance with the approved plan.
4. Issuance
If the building is found to be in compliance with the approved plan and regulations, the Certificate of Conformity will be issued.
Note: Occupying or using a building without a COC may result in legal action under applicable regulations.
